M-Tube
With the new M-Tube, MENTOR enhances its reputation as an innovator yet again. The light set a new standard in illumination and is suitable for large area lighting as well as for ambient lighting. It goes without saying that M-Tube and M-Pipe are powered by state of the LED-technology made by OSRAM Opto Semiconductors.
M-Tube
Characteristics:
The M-Tube with a length of up to 2m represents a novelty in the segment of LED-lights. Designed to be applied in many different ways it suits for an even illumination of large surface areas as well as for light effects and object lighting.
The M-Tube consists of a housing for the LED into which the light guide bar is clamped by means of an adapter sleeve. A light coupling from both sides is necessary depending on the length of the light guide up to a length of 2m. Up to a length of 1m just one light coupling is necessary in order to get an optimal illumination. However, each of both housings is equipped with one SMD LED only. In this way the development of this illumination technique contributes to an ecological dealing with resources and decreases costs for energy consumption on the operatoris side. The special design of the housing of the LED allows adhesive bonding as well as screwed connection of the M-Tube thus providing a high degree of freedom of mounting. Here, not only the 4 commonly available diameters between 5mm and 10mm enable an exact adjusting to the scenarios to be illuminated - the flexible light guide that permits individual lines represents an especial highlight.
For indirect or specific illuminations a reflector with gradual reflector printing is available. Here you can choose between an equable or selective shining.
