RGB Wall washer with SIIX Corp. advanced LED soldering process provides best thermal performance
It's not only a simple RGB wall washer which changes colours, inside are 80 Golden DRAGON ARGUS High Brightness LEDs which are soldered with the SIIX Corp. advanced soldering process, by using advanced SIIX Corp. FR4 PCB material. The soldering process, the SIIX Corp FR4 material and the thermal interface material from Fuji Polymer Industries Co., Ltd. provide very good heat dissipation for LED applications. The OPTOTRONIC OT Easy RGB colour control from OSRAM acts as the control gear.
Alternatively modern electronic driver ICs from STMicroelectronics power the multi-colour LEDs.
This LED wall washer includes the latest technology from SIIX Corp. which provides advantages for LED applications.
SIIX Corp. developed an advanced soldering process which provides higher efficiency and better thermal performance to your application compared to laser or robot soldering process. At SIIX Corp. advanced process all Golden DRAGON® lens LEDs and all LED heat sinks can be soldered in one production step onto the PCB.
SIIX Corp also designed an advanced FR4 PCB material as an attractive alternative to standard AL metal core PCB's which has better thermal performance, less weight and higher layer design flexibilities.
The above technologies fit well to LED applications but can also be used for other high power or temperature sensible applications. The Thermal Interface Material is supplied by Fuji Polymer Industries Co., Ltd.
The OPTOTRONIC OT Easy allows the easy plug&play control for the complete RGB colour range.
The alternative STMicroelectronics driver electronics contain a Power Factor Corrector Circuit (PFC) in isolated Flyback configuration because above 25W the EN61000-3-2 norm has to be fulfilled. A microcontroller allows the control of different scenes, dimming, colour change and adjustment if multi-colour LEDs are driven. The circuit fulfills all requirements, especially excellent energy efficiency above 88% and save isolation are guaranteed.
